DETAILED INTEREST SCORES
What Your Interest Scores Are Really Saying
Your GOT Code shows the big picture. These scores zoom into which specific types of work energize you most.
TWO LEVELS OF YOUR PROFILE
Your GOT Code gives you the big view — 'I'm mostly Artistic and Social.' Your detailed interest scores land the plane. They break those broad areas into 30+ specific categories: not just 'Artistic' but whether you're drawn more to Visual Arts, Performing Arts, or Writing and Mass Communication.
This level of detail matters because two people with the same GOT Code can end up in completely different careers — and have completely different levels of satisfaction — based on which specific interests are actually driving their scores.
WHAT A HIGH SCORE MEANS
A high score means that type of work energizes you. Not 'I'm good at it' — energizes. You'd do it voluntarily. You find it interesting even when it's hard. You get absorbed and lose track of time.
High-score areas are the environments and activities you want to aim toward. They're not a list of tasks you can do — they're clues about the kind of work that will feel sustainable long-term and won't drain you to nothing.
WHAT A LOW SCORE MEANS
A low score doesn't mean you can't do that type of work — it means it drains you faster than it energizes you. Everyone can push through work they find uninteresting. The question is how much of your workday you want to spend doing it.
Avoid careers where the core daily activities are all in your low-score areas. It's not about being bad at something — it's about long-term energy. Even high performers burn out when their work mostly lives in their low-interest zones.
HOW TO USE THESE SCORES
Look at your top 3–4 detailed scores. Do they match the careers showing up in your results? They should. If they don't, it's worth thinking about why — sometimes it reveals a more specific direction than your GOT Code alone.
Also look at your lowest scores and what categories they fall into. If you're low in Office Management and Taxes/Accounting, you probably want to avoid operations-heavy roles even in fields you love. That kind of self-knowledge can save years of career frustration.
